Position Title: Admin/Finance Officer
Location: Monrovia, Liberia
Reports To: Country Manager, Transcript Dove Liberia / HQ Finance
Contract Type/Duration: Full-time 

Position Summary

The Admin/Finance Officer is the custodian of transparency and accountability within Transcript Dove Liberia. This position combines financial management, administrative oversight, and HR support into a single critical function.

The officer will be responsible for preparing budgets, managing payroll, processing payments, filing taxes, and maintaining accurate financial records in line with EdNova Group’s financial and governance standards. They will also manage HR functions including recruitment, employee contracts, staff files, and compliance with labor laws.

Given EdNova Group’s commitment to trust, compliance, and transparency, this officer must be highly detail-oriented, trustworthy, and well-versed in financial reporting. Their work ensures that Transcript Dove not only operates smoothly in Liberia but also demonstrates credibility to institutions, government regulators, and international partners.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day finances, payroll, and petty cash.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Liberia’s tax laws and EdNova policies.
  • Maintain HR files, contracts, and staff records.
  • Support audits and donor reporting requirements.
  • Manage office procurement and inventory.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • 3-5 years of finance/administration experience.
  • Proficiency with Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of financial accountability.
